A powerflush is the process of flushing large volumes of water and special chemicals to flush through your central heating system to clear any debris and sludge and renew your radiators!

Need a powerflush? Booking one is simple:

  1. Select the number of radiators you have from the drop-down menu.
  2. Select whether you would like just the powerflush or for CPH to install a Magnetic Filter at the same time. A Magnetic Filter will filter any debris from your system and prolong the lifespan of your boiler even further.
  3. Add to basket and checkout – CPH will then contact you via telephone or email to book the date for your Powerflush.
  4. Relish the improved performance of your radiators and boiler.

Please be advised:

If there is a broken part in your boiler, or elsewhere in your central-heating system, powerflushing will not fix it. Power flushing can improve the efficiency of your system and keep it running effectively but it cannot mend valves that have broken as a result of sludge in the system, for example.

Performing a powerflush will not always result in all radiators performing to full capacity if there are additional/further issues on the system. Corrosion and Scale cause internal damage to the central heating system and boiler. Depending on how advanced this damage is, leaks may occur during or after the powerflush. The powerflushing doesn’t cause the leaks but it can uncover leaks that have been sealed up by the sludge or lime scale inside the system which is removed during the power flushing process. Unfortunately, there is no way of telling if leaks are going to occur. Other issues that may be discovered during the powerflushing process include but are not limited to, the sludge deposits being solid and unable to break down or damage to valves and pipes due to sludge build up.

In the unlikely event that during the power flushing process any leaks should occur, repairs will be carried out at our standard labour rates, with parts charged for accordingly.
