Bathroom Installation Terms and Conditions

1. Quotation, Deposits, and Invoices

1.1 Our fixed-price quotation is valid for one month from the date shown, subject to material price increases. Prices will be confirmed at the time of placing the order.

1.2 A 25% deposit of the total price is payable upon placing the order to confirm the start date of works. This deposit covers potential restocking charges if the job is cancelled after materials have been ordered. Refer to section 5 for more details.

1.3 Upon commencement of works and delivery of materials, an additional 65% of the total price is payable to cover material costs.

1.4 While we exercise extreme care to prevent any damage to your property and are fully insured, we are not liable for damages to pictures, furnishings, or removable items during transportation of tools and materials. It is your responsibility to move any items of concern. Additionally, we are not liable for damage to adjoining room walls during the removal of the old bathroom.

1.5 If you decide to cancel after placing the order, any special order materials must be paid for in full. If the cancellation is within 7 days of the start date, a restocking charge will be deducted from your deposit before any refund.

1.6 Please ensure that all work you require is listed in your quotation. Only the specified work will be completed within the quoted price. We can adjust or re quote to meet additional requirements if needed.

1.7 Any additional small works required after the commencement of the initial contract will be quoted separately and added to the final invoice. Large jobs will be treated as a new contract.

1.8 Some additional works may only be identified once the job has commenced. Examples include:

· Damaged or unfit walls after tile removal: £50 per square metre for re-boarding.

· Mouldy or unfit wooden boards/joists under flooring: £60 per square metre for replacement.

· Uneven flooring requiring self-levelling for tiles or click flooring: £60 plus VAT per bag, including installation.

1.9 An invoice will be raised upon the installers leaving the installation site. Our sales team will contact you within 2 days to ensure any snags are resolved promptly. Snagging does not delay or extend payment terms.

1.10 After final touches and siliconing, surfaces will remain wet for approximately 24 hours. Sanitary ware should not be disturbed during this period to avoid displacement of silicone seals.

2. Your Responsibilities

2.1 Prior to installation, you are responsible for:

· Ensuring suitable gas, electricity, water, and waste services are available for connection unless otherwise stated in the quotation.

· Informing us of any property features that may complicate installation.

· Ensuring existing wiring, gas, water, and waste pipework are legally compliant and in good condition.

· Locating any hidden wiring or pipework. We are not liable for damages to hidden conduits.

· If the existing system is not RCD protected, an additional charge of £100 + VAT applies.

· Checking compatibility of self supplied appliances with new installations.

2.2 You are advised not to decorate rooms (including tiling or laying new floors) before installation to avoid incidental damage.

2.3 Throughout the installation, you must allow reasonable access to complete the works.

2.4 We aim to begin installations on the agreed date; however, start and completion dates are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances but will notify you promptly if issues arise.

3. Faulty Items

3.1 If a fault is identified after fitting, we reserve the right to request the manufacturer or a registered engineer to contact you or visit your property to confirm the fault.

4. Guarantees

4.1 Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the installation date.

4.5 Claims must be made within a reasonable time, and we may need to inspect the product at the installation site before any work is carried out.
